'Apfel Cidre'

For the first time in Ontario, welcome Wein Goutte and their herbal, airy and textured cider. Chefs turned winemakers, Emily Campeau and Christoph Müller are originally from Montreal and Germany respectively, and now tend to their four hectares of pristine polyculture property in Franken. Crushed in an old press, bottled like a pet-nat, left undisgorged, and due to very little sugar from the apples, showcases a good sparkle with low pressure (aka don’t worry about this one overflowing when you open it up!). English lavender bed, light mint dabs, chalky rockets minerality, lemon-shaped lemon juice bottle & thyme. A really good companion to other spirits, Emily recommends that you “spritz stuff with it”, and may we suggest their very own wermoutte!? Trust us.
