A field blend grown by a dear friend, Bob! Who doesn’t need a farmer Bob in their life? Sourwood focuses on making raw, unfiltered cider using 100% Nova Scotian apples! They experiment with adding fruit and hops, which bring unexpected textures, flavours & body to their ciders. This special teeny-tiny bottling is sourced from Bob’s hilltop orchard, looking over the tidal and muddy banks of Nova Scotia! Redfree, Cortland & Golden Delicious apples, crushed, macerated for a few weeks (giving this deep & supple colour) & bottled with a little bit of residual sugar – which continues fermentation in the bottle and makes perky lil bubbles! A perfect balance between ripe fruit and acidity, with a warm blanket of tannin. Pour with your next Ontario apple pie baking contest!
