GW Boot Necklace by Billy Jewellery
Silver Sheet Metal & Recycled Silver Boot & Grape pendants with a Sterling Silver Chain
The sweetest dang merch we have laid our eyes-on! Inspired by a one-off by talented, Vancouver-based jeweller Grace Newson, we are over the moon to offer the tiniest run of GW boot necklaces. The boot is hand drawn, sawed and polished from silver sheet medal, while the grape bunches use melted down, recycled silver to sculpt individual grapes that are soldered together before being affixed to a sterling silver chain. We're obsessed!
Grace began Billy in 2021, inspired to recreate a wire-wrapped ring she used to own. She quickly caught the âmakingâ bug and expanded into gold-filled pieces ranging from stacking rings to earrings to hand-stamped necklaces and dainty chain anklets. She is constantly exploring different materials and methods of jewellery-making, from beading to soldering to lost-wax to bezel and stone setting. Most recently Grace has been focusing more on sterling silver and will be launching new unique and handcrafted pieces very soon. In the meantime this collaboration has been an incredible starting point and she hopes you love these limited edition Grape Witches necklaces!!
