A light as a feather, smooth as a board kinda red. Winemakers Melanie and Michael founded 2Naturkinder in 2013 after taking over the historic family estate, and have been honing their low-intervention practice ever since. A blend of spiced and full bodied domina (48%), floral hybrid regent (39%), and earthy spÀtburgunder (aka pinot noir, 13%). The regent is pressed and poured over the domina bunches for three days to help hold onto colour and tannin, then topped up with carbonically macerated spÀtburgunder to ramp up gluggability. CUTE FACT! Named after their first born sheep, the blend has changed over time as Betty grew up! Milk thistle, mingling reduction, very tart cranberry, Swedish berries (at the theatre always taste better), bay leaf, woody herbs & a chalky cliff-face minerality. Enjoy with escargot dredged and dripping in parsley butter.
