Certified organic since 1996, today 17th-generation winemaker Assis Suriol practices biodynamics while maintaining traditional techniques, offering a liquid celebration of Catalan heritage. FUN FACTS! The family operates a small hotel and restaurant as part of the property, offering a delicious experience for thirsty travellers (that could be YOU!). Azimut translates to “the direction that the sailor takes watching his path forward”! And finally, “Brisa” means pomace in Catalan, and “Brisat” is the traditional term for skin contact wines in the PenedĂ©s area! A blend of organically grown, citric and bright parellada (40%), aromatic, plushy moscatel (30%), RARE, mineral-driven sumoll blanc (20%) and herbal, rich garnacha blanca (10%) see five days of skins before pressing for the gentlest tactility. Citrus peel, juice and pith, summer honey, raw almond, bountiful herbs, lychee lolly, orange flowers & a mix of soft spices. Pour alongside bitter green salads and trout dips.
