âBandol RosĂ©'
MourvĂšdre, Grenache, Cinsault, Provence, France
One of the most famous rosĂ©s in the entire world, here at last! This is a highlyyyyy allocated wine and we were thrilled to get 18 measly, wildly delicious bottles. The iconic Domaine Tempier has a long history (try pre-1834!) of award winning wines and expert vine care. Bandol is often cited as being the âgrand cru of Provenceâ, with its varied and complex terroir. The entire farming process is as natural as possible, aligned to the rhythm of the seasons and lunar calendar, aka they are an organic and biodynamic wine estate. The grapes are hand harvested over a one-month period, and only the best fruit is selected back at the winery, #BePicky. Full destemming and the lightest, quick press is done to keep things light as a feather. Intense sweet rose and daffodil florals, donut peach, pomegranate syrup, delicate white pepper, beach melon, chalk, herb de provence & a rushing torrent of balancing acidity. It is recommended that you hold on to this rosĂ© for 1-5 years, but it can go much, MUCH longer â who knows where you will be, but this rosĂ© will be there with you.
