A darkly-fruited and highly drinkable, unpretentious red fit for those who wear velvet all year round. Winemaker Pascal Biotteau of Mary Taylor works with small scale growers in order to showcase their care and dedication, with the end goal of sharing wines that are reflective of their individually tasty terroirs. A blend of cherried merlot (50%), broody cab sauv (25%) & herbaceous cab franc (25%). Cola nut, white pepper, sweet blackberry, graphite, dried porcini, anise, dry aged steak, lingering cassis & herbs piercing through. Enjoy with gamey meats & gruff nights.
