Purchasing from a range of sites, from Chablis, Chablis Grand Cru, as well as eleven Chablis Premier Cru, his wines show clarity of voice and taste behind both the fruit selection and winemaking process. This chardonnay is from a single, sustainably farmed parcel of 75-year-old vines, on a mix of chalk and clay that show through as salty, savoury minerality. Chalky, shaded green foliage, white flower tumble, sappy drips, chirping acid, trying to light a wet match, salt air & wild, roadside mint.
