In the heart of the Marne Valley, Bourdon Vieillard has been operational since 1812, with each generation contributing their passion and care to the now 62 plots of calcareous clay-packed soils nestled between a cooling river and plateau. Here we see a blend of herbal, fresh pinot meunier (55%), earthy, floral pinot noir (35%), and plush, expressive chardonnay (10%), all pressed, blended and aged for four years to gain astounding complexity. Quince, linden blossom, beeswax, citric pops, over-fresh homemade bread, apple juice, almond tree, lemon grass, lemon verbena & a hay stuffed mattress. Pour alongside surf and turf, caviar and cuddles.
