Beginning in 2016 after a devastating frost, the project is committed to sourcing solely organic fruit â which, FUN FACT, makes up less than 4% of the total grapes in Beaujolais! From 50+ year old vines on pebbly and ancient alluvial soils, the grapes are carbonically macerated before eight months in old oak in the charmingly musty Dutraive cellar. Cherry extract, scorched earth, saline minerality, rhubarb pie, dried chilli, raspberries in a leather harness, warm soil, ground herbs & accidentally crushed flowers. Pour alongside watching The Last of Us (episode 3) and weeping your darn eyes out.
