For lovers of the book ‘Journey to the Centre of the Earth’, spelunking & unexpected pairings (hellooo pickles dipped in chocolate pudding lovers). The GW House Wines are our newest collaboration with winemaker Roberto Echeverría, and the culmination of our dream to offer delicious and quality wines at stand out price points. Hand-picked, the organically grown dense and dark petit verdot (80%) is blended with rich and spicy viognier (20%), for a balance of dusk and luminescence – like a tunnel’s echo resounding deep into the Earth. All grapes are destemmed and the petit verdot is macerated for four days to pull tense and fraying tannins that loosen as they hit your tongue. Salmonberry, some UFFs (aka unidentified flying fruits), dustyyy spice cabinet, blackberry liquorice, little bit of mint stem, accidentally-biting-your-tongue bloody minerality & rich blueberry compote. Enjoy while filing your taxes (be they on time or a lil late), darning a pair of sox or just watching the sun’s shadows creep across your walls.
