Seventh-generation winemaker, Alexandre Gendrier met partner in life and wine, Paulina, on a trip to Quebec in 2007, and ever since they have been working together at his familyâs Cheverny biodynamic estate, Domaine des Huards â in the family since 1846! FUN FACTS! Rare and singular, this grape variety is exclusive to the appellation Cour-Cheverny, where the Gendrier family still owns their vines planted in 1922! Hand picked and gently pressed before eight months on fine lees adding nutty nuances. Grilled citrus, lilac honey, almond skins, plump golden apple & mineral magnification on a lengthy finish.
