A dry Riesling that feels like a unicorn ride along cool German mountainside gorges. Three passionate wine-growers/oenologists Doris Eymael, daughter-in-law Karin & husband Jan tend to the vines and ferments. Four generations of family members with a long viticultural history live & work together at the stunning estate. Vineyard maintenance here is always done as ecologically friendly as possible. Grown on chalky soils, the vineyards and growing conditions at Pfeffingen are said to be optimal for the, “king of white wine varietals” – Riesling. Japanese honeysuckle, wet wool, oat straw, apricot, yellow apple spirals, lemon drop melon & downhill racing minerality. Pour alongside spicy kimchi tacos & Marc Maron stand-up.
