Alex Götze and Christoph Wolber are a pair of star-crossed winemakers – deeply infatuated with the wines of Burgundy and propelled by their German roots. The organic and biodynamic pinot noir is fit as a fiddle, offering a delightful collision of structure and frenzied glou-glou eNerGy from the combination of carbonic maceration (10 days) and time in oak barrels. Spices up first, crushed raspberry, pomegranate shell and seeds, paper bag of mushrooms, lunging acidity, windshield wipers of mineral clarity & a crunch of chervil.
