Domaine du Haut Planty has been certified organic since 2015, with 10 out of 20 of their silty, sandy hectares of the estate under vine. Rested on lees for 12-16 months, âGwin Evanâ is a retreat from the typically mass-produced lean and uninspired melons, also being made without sulphur (a RARITY in Muscadet!) allowing it to live and breathe. Minute effervescence, a balance of cantaloupe nectar roundness with underripe, melon skin leanness, extremely chalky, snow melting into the riverbed, peach flowers & oat straw tea. Enjoy with the fattest, briniest BC oysters you can find.
