A plump, fruity and herbaceous Georgian skin contact. Following his grandfather-taught techniques, Iago creates wines from regional grapes grown on his two hectares of 65 year-old vineyards. FUN FACT! The winery was the first in Georgia to received organic certification in 2005! The grapes are poured directly into 2000 litre amphora which are buried in the floor of the cellar, and fermented with regular punchdowns for three weeks (peep the label artwork for an idea of what these look like!), then left for six months before being moved to tanks pre-bottling. Orange marmalade, bee propolis, ghee, salted peaches, belted quince, stones, pepper & oregano. Enjoy alongside bean salads, spiced lentil dishes and whole fishes.Â
