A light, luscious & mineral-driven Sauvignon Blanc available in Ontario for the very first time from Tara Gomez, a Chumash winemaker working on the eastern edge of the Santa Ynez Valley in California. After working as an enologist at Fess Park and J. Lohr for over a decade, Gomez travelled Europe to learn as much as she could about wine. In 2010, the Santa Ynez Band purchased the Camp 4 vineyard from the late Fess Park and immediately hired Tara as head winemaker, giving her the opportunity to give back to her people as a winemaker. To this day, she continues to be a lifelong learner, travelling to France as often as she can to learn about the varieties she wants to work with. Rife with stony minerality and a soft, sun-kissed texture, this radiant Sauvignon Blanc practically shines from within â fancy tropical fruit cup meets lemon sorbet, red apple, passionfruit nectar, white peach & a touch of fruity bubblegum with a crisp, stony finish.
