A zero-zero, delicate and fine pineau d’aunis for the heart. Saillard wines are highly-consumable, spirited and, as of late, created out of determination in the face of climate instability and destruction by frost, hail or rain. 2023 was also a challenging, small vintage, but what remained is singing and we’re chuffed to offer the Scarlette for the very first time. This certified organic, domaine pineau d'aunis is plucked from it’s clay-limestone bed, and macerated whole cluster in wooden vats for 10 days to pull the cheeriest of textures and aromatics. FUN FACT! Only 1000 of these bottles exist, and we got 120! A devilish smile and flushed cheeks, red fruit gusher innards, cola nut, bark covered in moss kinda texture, fools gold, forsythia bush & pooling cave minerality.
