From an 8th-generation winery in 1er cru village Vrigny, this biodynamic blend was made with 30% reserve wines, spending 6 months in tank followed by 3-4 years on the lees in bottle. Such a dry & decadent delight, a tremendous Pinot Meunier-driven Champagne that drinks like caramelized brown sugar, brown butter & crisp brûlée with a slightly oxidative nuttiness that simply screams opulence. Grapefruit-tinged acidity dances in the background while added texture from the lees leaves an indelible impression on the palate. It’s so sexy when a wine knows exactly what it’s doing and at this point, we’re just along for the ride.
