A take on the phrase, “jack of all trades, master of none”, but we bet you didn’t know that the original phrase ends in “…but better than master of one” did ya?! Multi-faceted babes for the WIN! Winemaker Pieter Walser, has been deemed one of the most interesting, inspired & avant-garde winemakers to be found anywhere in the world (seriously GW? Yes, seriously). No wine is ever repeated, everything is a one-off, happy-accident, never to be seen again. This blend includes grenache noir (57%), cinsaut (23%), fernao pires (10%), chardonnay (3%), chenin Blanc (3%), pinot noir (2%) & pinotage (2%) from several different vineyards. The red grapes are fermented spontaneously and left on the skins for three weeks, while the whites are pressed as whole bunches & spend 10 months on the lees, takin’ us straight to Texture-Land. Perfume named “RED”, rose petal, strawberry-pepper jam, fire pit, liquorice root, raspberry tart, with a finish that’ll last you through the week.
