'Mosaic White'

Roditis, Xinomavro & Sauvignon Blanc, Greece

A light, characterful Grecian white blend for everyday and always. Chatzivaritis is a 20 hectare family winery farming in Goumenissa, Northern Greece. Organically certified, the family concentrate mainly on local varieties like assyrtiko, roditis, negoska and xinomavro. The ‘mozaic’ blend here consists of lifted n’ citric roditis (the most planted white grape in Greece!), umami-rich xinomavro (the country’s famous red, here made into a characterful white), with a smaller potion of herbaceous, tropical sauvy b. Zest, zest, zest! Lime, orange, green pear and pineapple, brought down to earth by laurel & tarragon greenery. Try with fava bean salad or stuffed grape leaves and an XL pool floaty.
