A fresh, textural and wonderfully THRILLING first collaboration between Grape Witches and Ori Marani! Bastien Warskotte and Nino Gvantseladze focus on regional varietals fermented in traditional clay amphora and old French oak, their wines not only regally carry the 8000-year legacy of Georgian winemaking, but also belong to the new wave of winemakers reintroducing Georgia to the world. FUN FACT! “Bolomde” is what Georgians say when they cheers, which translates to, “from the beginning until the end”! From 20-year-old chinuri vines on clay and limestone soils, the grapes are direct-pressed long n’ slow to pull tactility and tender florality which the grape is known for. Fresh pressed apple juice, silky phenolic grip, sandcastle meets wet rock minerality, white flavoured lollipop, grass & a soft marshmallow vanilla-breeze – in short, a literally perfect white wine. Enjoy alongside herbaceous bean salads, Bee Time by Mark L Winston and the first snowdrops coming up. A special shout out to Toronto-based artist Sophia Lapres who painted this label inspired by Georgian marigolds. We’re obsessed!
