A stunning and serious volcanic rosĂ© to delight any dang time of the year. Juan JesĂșs of Viñåtigo is a fourth generation winemaker who has spent the last thirty years working towards identifying and cultivating regional grapes of the Canary Islands from near extinction. He is now joined by his son, Jorge, who champions heroic winemaking in some of the most incredible sights on the islands. Pino Valois one of those special plots, located in the highlands of the town of Icod de Los Vinos, northwest of the island of Tenerife, with a reputation for iconically OLD vines. Whole clusters are added to a press, sit for two hours before pressing, and spend five months on fine lees adding richness of texture and aromatics. Strawberry slurpee, strawberry flowers, lemon wedge squeezed into a lush viscosity & crisp mineral clarity. Enjoy with an everything-on-it hotdog passed to you by the jolliest of Toronto street vendors.
