Currently run by Luigi Scala, who infallibly favours quality over quantity, with the aim of producing distinguished and delicious Calabrian wines. The exceedingly rare grape gaglioppo is known for being a child of sangiovese and producing herbaceous & dusty fruit flavours. Due to its infamous thick skins this wine sees a short maceration to keep things as #AIRY as possible. Dry violets, twiggy wood spice, cherry kirsch, wild plum, new leather, firm tannin hug & a hint of salinity. Open after assembling an Ikea side table and let this be your reward!
