'Il Ramato Pinot Grigio Rosé'

Not an orange wine, not a rosé, but definitely an aromatic Northern Italian beauty. Scarbolo are in Lauzacco where they focus on presenting a small amount of diverse pinot grigio expressions. The ‘Ramato’ style is a traditional one where pinot gris’s pinkish-grey (it’s kind of between a red and a white) marbled skins soak with the juice, creating a copper or rose gold hue. Grapefruit lolli, lemon pie, rose petal sprinkled bed, stone mashed stone fruit & a pinch of salt on a tomato slice. Enjoy with grilled fresh fish and a wedge of lemon.
