A salty, pop-sicled and smiling Slovakian deep rose to wet your insatiable whistles with. The charismatic family behind Slobodne have rebuilt their farm over the past 25 years; the current generation, sisters Agnes and Katarina (and their two partners) make some of the most exciting Slovakian wines we know! FUN FACT! Named after a famous climbing route in Buoux, southern France, which French legend of free climbing Antoine Le Menestrel personally named, and in which there is one special move, called “rose move”, on the route, which without mastering, you cannot complete the course! The blend of juicyyy n' spiced frankovka (blaufrankisch), mineral, herbaceous cabernet sauvignon and intense, structured alibernet (a hybrid of alicante bouschet and cabernet sauvignon) is direct pressed and aged in Spanish tinajas (amphora) to incubate in a piece of breathable earth. Salty, with crisp lactic energy, tomato vine, gently browning herbs & cherry popsicle drippings falling into the dirt.
