A perfumed, crisp and gleaming Northern Italian aromatic white that immediately stole our hearts! With a history dating back to 1850, today the Sturm family organically manages 18 hectares of vines in the Collio region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. FUN FACT! Ribolla gialla was historically fermented into simple table wine for the masses and served after long days in the field – in Sturm’s words, “a wine that was easy and flowed like words”. Destemmed and macerated on skins, the wine was aged for a few months on lees to continue infusing aromatics before bottling. Wildflower field, crunchy green pears meets pineapple core, lime tree, magnetic minerality, white pepper, a touch of chlorophyll & an inviting sapidity. Enjoy alongside jam packed seafood boils.
