Like a baby soft Bojo brought up under the Cali sun. A post-sizzling-summer welcome to the newest member of the GWI lineup, Emme! After meeting winemaker Rosalind Reynolds earlier this year in California, we immediately fell in love with the project. Named after her nature-loving grandmother, Emme focuses on minimal to no intervention winemaking, and sits in a hot-bed of new-cali talent! 2022 was her second year working with the pronounced, purple-y flavoured and well structured valdiguié, from the organically tended Ricetti vineyard! Foot crushed and left to ferment whole cluster for 10 days, the tannins shepherd themselves across your tongue with ease. Wet wildflowers, fruiting bramble, rustic wooden barn kinda texture, crowberries & sloping minerality leading you into tingles of spiced hibiscus tea. Enjoy alongside chicken of the woods mushrooms sautéed with caramelized onions.
