"Cius" means cute and what is cuter than a staring contest with a puffy, orange-eyed, black owl? That’s right, nothin’! A fun-loving project with the aim of preserving the history and nature of the Friuli area, while also revitalizing it. Ribolla Gialla is one of the great grapes of Friuli, typically boasting high acidity, savoury fruit and floral finesse. From a single plot of 10-year-old vines, the wine spends six months on lees picking up texture. Aromatically elegant and subtle, with lemon zest, papaya, citric pops, gentian, white peaches, frozen apple, acacia & a dry, mineral finish. Enjoy with stir fried shrimp rice.
