A lavish, spiced pinot blanc, for the lovers not the fighters. Spread over 18 hectares, the Ziniel vineyards are guided by minimal intervention, leaving the ample flora and fauna to flourish alongside their crop. FUN FACT! Klevner is an old name for weissburgunder/pinot blanc. This wine is particularly special to Andreas as he feels this royal grape transmutes the terroir to a tee. Plucked from one site of 20-year-old vines, the aromatic and plush klevner is stomped by foot, then macerated for 4-7 hours building texture, before direct pressed and distributed between big old oak barrels and ceramic vessels (so not to be over-influenced by the wood). Andreas shared with us that this wine is in the PERFECT place right now, and we received the LAST few bottles available to share with YOU, #luckyducklings! Honeysuckle climbing up a tree, flint in the distance, opulent candied energy (but not sweet), smooth spice with a salt pinch, discarded wood, white sprinkles, cashew cream & sour melon-apple hybrid.
