Located in Veneto's Val di Mezzane valley near Verona, the certified organic Massimago estate is run by natural-minded winemaker Camilla Rossi Chauvenet. The valley where they reside was originally completely submerged by the sea, which has buried within the soils an infinite amount of calcified marine fossils that bestow refreshing mineral intricacy. A blend of herbaceous corvina, saturated + spicy corvinone & darkly-floral rondinella. After a short maceration, the grapes are gently pressed to get this lambs ear pale pink hue. Peonies, hazy cumulous clouds, chewing on liquorice root, pink grapefruit juice, strawberry rhubarb jam, spring rosebud & pebbly overflowing stream minerals. Drink while playing around with your kitchen table floral arrangements.
