A wildly symphonic Pinot Noir appears! Making it’s Ontario debut is this rare, holy grail red from the Brand Bros, two fun-loving brothers making some of the world’s buzziest natural wines out of Pfalz, Germany. Focused on organic viticulture and zero-sulphur winemaking, they’re working to make their vineyard entirely self-sustaining with flora and fauna growing alongside fruits, vegetables and animals. And like any orchestra, many moving parts create a kinetic energy all their own! Sourced from 40 year old vines from their Heiligenkirche vineyard, the grapes were wild fermented and aged in barrel, then bottled without fining, filtration or added sulphites. Broad and ripe on the nose with dark, juicy fruit and a touch of musk, this is Pinot by way of Beauty and the Beast — brambly red fruit, evening dew, salted florals, enchanted roses, dusty libraries, muddy brown boots straight out of the saddle & damp, earthy tannins. Pair with lamb korma, long gallops at night and orchestral renditions of The Cure.
