Winemaker Iole Rabasco’s nine hectare estate is located in the village of Pianella, sitting contently in the heart of the celebrated Abruzzo. Iole’s wines are deliberately uncomplicated, from the decisions in the vineyard to the cellar, everything is determined by the celestial cycles. Made from 100% montepulciano d’Abruzzo, one of Italy’s most famous grapes, known for its soft tannins, refreshing acidity & juicy nature (and this zero-zero iteration does not disappoint!). The colour of the vicious trollop lipstick from Gilmore Girls, pomegranate slurry, gruff tomato, tumbling landslide minerality, boysenberry, shrivelled oregano, green strawberry, toothsome tannins & a windswept field. Enjoy with beef ravioli, the bottle surrounded by a shrine of dribbling candles.
