An aromatic, balanced and bittersweet Spanish vermouth IDEAL for the aperitvo o’clock. Cueva Nueva is a Spanish vermut brand and their ‘Vermut Rojo’ is made in partnership with local winemakers in Tarragona. Their recipe blends herbal, zesty grenache blanc and floral, tree-fruity airén with 88 botanicals (!) including: traditional Mediterranean herbs, gentian, wormwood, rosemary, orange peel, clove and cinnamon, which is then fortified with grape eau de vie and aged in French oak for tactility. Enjoy during ‘La Hora del Vermut’ in an Adonis, Negroni, Manhattan, or on its own over ice, garnished with olives and citrus, maybe a few extra if you’re peckish.
