Mathilde and Florian Beck-Hartweg come from a LONG lineage of Alsatian winemakers (try 16th century!) and their wines speak to both a rich past and compelling future. ‘Granit’ is a field blend made to showoff the much-loved, pink granite character of the soil in Dambach. A blend of high elevation savoury pinot noir (pressed quickly and delivered as a white wine), stone-fruited pinot gris, and richly-acidic riesling, showing off the fascinatingly salty, mineral quality of the region. Chalky mineral milkshake, chamomile, apricot-peach puree, flowering rosemary, salt & lemon peel. Enjoy with plump langoustines.
