Our favourite fun fact about this wine is that the Koppitschs purposefully bottled it on the night of the full moon to capture some of the moon’s luscious energy. Guess what? They 1000% succeeded. Dreamy, transcendent & ethereal, Gruner & Weissburgunder are fermented separately — half of each underwent two weeks of skin contact —  then blended together shortly before bottling. Like Orangina had a baby with kombucha, salted Greek yoghurt, grapefruit wedge, dried orange peel, and caramelly texture from lees contact. Get in a car and drive as far north as you can, camp beneath the stars and share a glass with your fav constellation.
