A beverage like Miss Frizzle, an abundance of gumption, experience & stored back-pocket-facts! In 2005 âEquipo Navazosâ was born out of a passion for discovering forgotten aged sherries in SanlĂșcar. Since then they have swiftly become the cult producer for quality Sherry lovers, knowledgeable sommeliers and indie retailers worldwide. Manzanilla (also translates to Chamomile) is the lightest style of Sherry, does not undergo oxidative aging & can only be made in SanlĂșcar de Barrameda, out of Palomino Fino. A single vineyard & single vintage wine, spending its first year under the veil (thin layer of yeast) in old wine barrels, it was slightly fortified (adding a mandatory minimum percentage of wine alcohol) and matured for the traditional average of almost three years. Brilliantly gold in colour, umami cityscape, wildly complex, like delicacy and pungency embracing your mouth simultaneously. Drink with Iberian ham & a Julia Ducournau film.
