Brand new & available in teeny tiny amounts, this is a sensorial scavenger hunt of earthly delights. One of our fave, zero-zero heroes, Joe Jefferies is a self-taught winemaker, farming 4.5 hectares of organic vines on volcanic basalt soils around Caux in southern France. A blend of 2/3 direct-pressed, 40-year-old luscious, aromatic grenache blanc and 15 to 30-year-old, citric, resinous ugni blanc, with 1/3 whole bunch ugni blanc macerated for six days in the aforementioned direct pressed juice (known as trempette, picture a tea bag in water!). Summer woods, and a musky mushroom warmth, raspberry tea, kiwi skins, candy store plushness juggling minerals & flint flecks. Enjoy while working on your latest wood carving project.Ā
