Another stellar offering from Australiaâs natural wine darling Anton Van Klopper of Lucy Margaux Farm (or Lucy M. as it is now technically known following a lawsuit from Bordeaux appellation Margaux AOP) operating in the Adelaide Hillâs Basket Range appellation. Made from three separate ferments (all with several months skin contact), then blended together before being bottled, the Arancione is an orange wine with broad shoulders, a plush mouthfeel and fine, chalky tannins. It is gorgeously rustic yet incredibly juicy with quince, fuzzy peaches, pineapple and orange - the most perfect Valencian orange whose sweetness youâve now added to the long list of dragons youâre destined to chase. Pair with a fresh fish crudo swimming in segmented citrus vinaigrette and Duolingo exercises until you can pronounce âah-ran-chee-own-eeâ like a pro.
