Situated near the otherworldly Thaytal National Park, Martin Vajcner’s certified organic vineyards are spread across the ancient Znojmo wine region. FUN FACT! Dyjákovičky (pronounced like di-yako-vitch-key), is the municipality and village of about 600 inhabitants that the vines reside in! The 12-year-old riesling and welschriesling vines are grown on clay-granite soils, and are direct pressed, fermented and matured in old Austrian acacia and French oak for 12 months to round and ground. Pralines and cream with spiced baby biscuits, salt, silk, citric acid crystal prickles, dissolved white clay, maybe an herb, maybe birch twigs & a centuries long finish of gauzy mineral richness.
