A savoury, voracious, zero-zero white Burgundy from a legend in the making. One of the most alluring and small production projects coming out of Burgundy right now, Pierre Mang is a curious and concise winemaker cultivating 2.5 hectares, where he completes all the vinification and fieldwork himself, #ourhero. The fifteen year old vines are grown on clay and limestone, their grapes handpicked and direct pressed for two years old barrel…the adventure of a lifetime by our estimates post taste! FUN FACT! This plot has a western exposure, where all of Pierre’s other vineyards face east, and is a colder terroir that you can really feel, hello 11.5%! Another scintillating example of the ‘higher levels of VA + chard are friends for life’ concept that we fully and forever will subscribe to. Honey water, lime zest supreme, crumbled sugar cookie, fig leaf, reading folk tales, coconut meat texture & after some opening and swirling herbs emerge, with tender dill, carrot top and sweet parsley.
