Rosso 20 Magnum'
Marzemino, Merlot, Veneto, Italy
Costadila translates to âthe hillside over thereâ, and when coupled with the old adage, âthe grass is always greenerâŠâ, the two seem to mash together fittingly in the case of this organic winery. Founded in 2006, they are set in the hills north of Venice with the goal of being a polyculture farm, growing fruits, vegetables, vines, grain & livestock harmoniously & with love. Winemakers Alex della Vecchia and Martina Celi are creating wines that are alive, evolving & keenly express the land on which they are grown. Left on skins for one month and aged with lees to add a lively & satisfying tannin structure. Virgin strawberry daiquiri, underripe raspberry, green tomato, gooseberry, peppery Earth & billowing grass. Chillllll down this wild red while watching Labyrinth, thinking about what it would have been like to befriend David Bowie.
