An aromatic play land of a cider with tangy and tart, mineral innards. New to the GWI family, Lieux Communs are a small, urban winery in Montreal that work with vineyards, orchards, and small farms across Quebec and Ontario. Creating without restriction, their lineup is alive and fluctuating like any healthy organism, growing and changing year after year. In its second iteration, âDebutsâ is 2/3 empire cider fermented on riesling lees to take on their crispy, whispery spirit, with 1/3 riesling piquette added to fill out and lengthen the experience. Mineral grape hubba-bubba, dusty chamomile, cassia shavings, crab apple & mashed, herbaceous tannins. Drink while plucking flower petals, do they love you? Or love you notâŠ? Youâll never know til you get off your keister and go ask!
