A surprising & complex palomino to delight and heighten a dining experience. This dense and salty orange absolutely blew us away in a recent tasting and we’re delighted to share it with you! Raúl Moreno Yague is a multifaceted Renaissance man of sorts with cooking, restaurant-owning and winemaking experience that extends across Australia, France, Spain, America & Portugal. From albariza soils full of white clay and marine fossils at sea level, grapes from this 100-year-old vineyard are 100% goblet trained like gnarly little trees packed with delicious, anicent fruit. Whole bunches are left for a week of maceration and aged for 10 months under a veil of complexity-inducing flor in ROUNDING Manzanilla oak. FUN FACT! Raúl is currently the captain of the Spanish National Blind Tasting Team (can we join?)! Deep amber, savoury aromatics, dense resin, saline brow, spiced drips and drops, cognac vIBez, delicate celery & minty drop.
