A dangerously sippable, coral pink bubble, full of frenzied fruit and haze for days. Mother Rock is a collaboration between winemaker Johan Meyer and Indigo Wine founder Ben Henshaw. By maintaining long-term contracts with some of the best growers in the Southern Cape, they are able to showcase the best and purest expression of South Africa’s diverse terroir. Mineral-capturing soils are mostly decomposed granite with Malmesbury shale - mud and muddy sands deposited on the bed of the ancient sea that once was Cape Town! Mainly composed of South Africa’s signature red, the rich, smoky and savoury pinotage, with RIPE chenin blanc (22%) pushing up peachy fruit and acidity. Tangy rhubarb, guava, blood orange, rising bread, ripe raspberry & spurting bubbles. Enjoy with Bunny Chow!
