A lusty rosé with a balance of crackling crunch, weight and wonder. Keenan & Zoë are a purchased fruit project, always zero-zero, always organic, ALWAYS freaking delicious. Their love of grape tending, year-to-year adaptability & complex, yet slurpable wines makes them a HUGE standout across the Canadian wine landscape. Here we have a blend of juicily-tree-fruited pinot gris (40%) and floral, fiesty pinot noir (60%) from the locally renowned Juno Block – residing just up the road from Keenan’s family winery Sage Hills, in Summerland. Pomegranate platter, pepper pouch, chalk, slight ceylon tea bitterness & a scoop of raspberry sorbet backstroking through a lake of acidity. Enjoy with (fake) tortoise shell frames, temporary tattoos & a sandy bottom.
