Winemaker Nupur Gogia is a wine agent, nice pal, Vinequity co-founder and Master of Wine student from Toronto! #LetsSeeYourCV? 'Khush' is her burgeoning low-intervention wine project (thank you pandemic), named after the Hindi word for ‘happy’! This is an extremely limited edition, single barrel, skin fermented viognier that is Nupur’s favourite wine she’s ever made and we instantly understood why. Foot stomped for a 14-day maceration prior to fermentation, then punched-down daily to extract tannin and phenolics, and aged in rounding neutral oak for 13 months. Dried apricot ziplock snack time, melted peach sorbet viscosity, wild thyme brush tactility, dried sage & a long lees ending. Aromatic, juicy, tangy and infinitely drinkable. Enjoy with veggie pakoras and mint sauce.
