From 42 year old heady Tempranillo & baked-fruity Carignan vines, grown on sandy-calcareous soils that bestow the elegantly interwoven minerality âLentiscus' wines are known for. Fermented in stainless steel tanks, where it remained over the winter until bottling the following spring. Crimson in colour, with sticky tannins, horseshoe, leather boots, balsamic syrup, cranberry swim, muddy field florals, smoked star anise & pepper roasted walnuts.
