An aromatic and wildly delicious orange pet-nat to cheers the beauty of chaos! A brand new collaboration from local institution Bar Volo, the Volare project partners with producers from around the world to bring delicious exclusives to Toronto! The German piece of this puzzle, Marto Wörner works organically and with biodynamic farming principles in the Rheinhessen, alongside partner and notable fellow winemaker, Alanna Lagamba. ‘Pazzo Pazzo’, meaning “crazy crazy”, is a macerated blend of highly aromatic scheurebe, bright kerner, mineral riesling, and juicy müller thurgau, all from sandstone plots in the village of Flonheim. Sumptuously aromatic and spritzy, fuzzy peach packet, lychee soda, dried apricot & a smooth minerality. Bar Volo says, “Pazzo means crazy – and we’re owning it”, and we should all follow their lead. Pour alongside juicy ribs, fried eggplant or soy marinated pickled veggies.
