'Note di Bianco'

Grillo, Sicily, Italy

Like drinking Claud Monet’s garden if it was relocated to an Italian island. Alessandro Viola is one of Sicily’s wine masters, overseeing directly every aspect of production both in the vineyard & cellar. The philosophy is simple and obviously key to the great success of the winery: make wine using only grapes. Here we see organically farmed triple threat grillo, speaking to us in tongues of florals, herbs & unforgettable acidity. FUN FACT! Grillo is a major component of Sicily’s fortified flagship wine: Marsala! The grapes are directly pressed and aged in stainless steel to keep these sumptuous aromatics kickin’! Rain dampened white flowers that make you have to get your nose all up in there, white cloud apple, salty brioche on the breeze, zested key lime, apple seed, coriander, sun-kissed apricots, water lilies, pear skin bitters & a straw broom. Enjoy with grilled Mahi-mahi & capers.
